Herbatious Plant Sanctuary

Early July a small group of interested souls made a trek from my apartment southwest to the University of Minnesota Arboretum. In case you didn't know an Arboretum is a place where trees, shrubs, and herbaceous plants are cultivated for scientific and educational purposes. Basically a plant haven, it was beautiful, hot, and humid.
Apparently it is a koy sanctuary as well.
The roses were beautiful, unfortunately they didn't smell amazing.
Since moving to Minnesota, I have discovered the beauty of water lilies.
I didn't get any pictures, but there was the most amazing herb garden with some amazing edible plants in it. The aroma in that garden was divine.
