Horses, Horses, Horses, and Bugs (lots of those)

A fairly large group of friends from church decided to hit up the professional horse races at Canterbury Park. As I have never gone to a horse race, I thought it would be a fantastic way to spend a Friday night. The races were interesting to watch but not nearly as fascinating as watching the people. Rednecks were alive and well at the races, as were smokers of pipes, cigarettes, cigars, and cigarillos, odd hats were all the rage (must be the British roots), a few people were dressed to the nines, and of course there were some tiny people on top of huge horses - a very interesting study.
